About Me
Hey there!
My name is Tabin Molzhon; I am a print-focused graphic designer and photographer who takes inspiration from nature. I grew up on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, so I have been immersed in the ocean and nature for the majority of my life. The thing I love most about nature is how chaotic it is. It does what it chooses, no matter the time or circumstances. These circumstances, although random, have the potential to result in beautiful shapes and patterns. Keeping this in mind, our natural world is the basis of everything we know. Those visuals are out there, and I'm making it my mission to bring them to life for all of you to see!
My design style is extremely diverse in terms of types of deliverables I can handle. I love modifying brand identity as well as creating new identities from scratch, I love designing packaging containers and the label systems they are paired with, and I have also developed a deep understanding for typography and have designed various publications utilising typographic hierarchy with creativity and order. For my Capstone Project my senior year of college I also discovered a new skill in 3D signage by making my personal brand logo out of wood. I was really happy with how it came out and I think that really encapsulated my style as a designer. After lots of trial and error figuring out what I wanted my personal brand to look like I finally had a logo system I was happy with. But rather than expand on the brand visually I decided to make a wooden sign out of it, which sparked a new interest in 3D model design. I'm on my way to becoming a Jack of all trades.
