PROJECT GOAL
The objective of this project was to completely reinvent the annual report for the Zionsville Community Project. After a detailed review of the existing 40-page booklet, I identified opportunities to enhance visual coherence, modernize the aesthetic, and improve the readability of the information. The goal was to transform the report into a forward-looking publication that reflected a futuristic, utopian vision aligned with Zionsville’s aspirations for a brighter future.

CONCEPT
I tackled the report redesign by first creating a comprehensive style guide that standardized typefaces, point sizes, and infographic options across all pages. I introduced a new graphic theme that combined futuristic elements with a utopian vision, resonating with the town’s goals of progress. I then rebuilt the entire publication by extracting text and images from the original booklet and reassembling them within the new framework, ensuring every page maintained a harmonious, cohesive look. The attention to detail was paramount, as even minor inconsistencies could disrupt the overall flow.
