PROJECT GOAL
The objective was to analyze an already existing annual report booklet for the Zionsville Community Project. After thoroughly scanning through and making points of what could be changed to make it better, I was tasked with reinventing the graphic components, infographics, and typographic layouts, as well as the cover, which I designed from scratch.

CONCEPT
This project required a different approach than what I was used to. The original report was around 40 pages, and I knew that redesigning around 40 pages worth of content would require great attention to detail and near-perfect cohesion across the entire publication. To do this effectively, I created a thorough style guide that included all typefaces and point sizes for every section of the text, options for different types of infographics, as well as a new graphic theme that would be utilized to modernize the aesthetic of the publication. I aimed to give the style guide a futuristic/utopian feeling to coincide with the town of Zionsville’s intentions of improving and looking into a brighter future. Once this was finalized, I remade the entire book, extracting only text and images, and did a lot of copy and pasting to give every page cohesion with its counterparts.
