PROJECT GOAL
The objective of this project was to design a unified packaging concept for Koi Bath & Body Co., a hypothetical self-care brand. The challenge was to create individual packaging for a set of four products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, and skin lotion) that, when combined, presented a cohesive and elegant product line. The design was inspired by Asian cultural symbols of purity, love, and spirituality, embodied by the koi fish.

CONCEPT
Emphasizing elegance and cultural symbolism, I developed the brand’s visual identity around the koi fish, a revered symbol in Asian culture. I chose a minimal color palette and calligraphic typography to create a refined look. To bring the branding to life, I paired the design with close-up, vibrantly edited photographs of fresh produce from Whole Foods, which served as an olfactory and visual hint of the product’s natural aromas. This harmonious integration of photography and graphic elements created packaging that is both eye-catching and deeply rooted in cultural aesthetics.
